Incidents & root cause analysis
How Causentrix detects, correlates, and explains incidents across your stack.
An incident represents a cluster of correlated signals — logs, traces, and metrics — that Causentrix believes share a common root cause. Incidents are listed under Incidents, scoped to your organization and (optionally) a single project.
Severity & blast radius
Each incident is scored by severity and annotated with the services it touches, so you can immediately see how far the failure has spread before you start digging in.
Correlated events
Opening an incident shows the correlated timeline: the events from every connected system that Causentrix has stitched together into a single causal narrative, with the suspected root cause highlighted.
Root cause reasoning
Causentrix reasons across service boundaries — rather than surfacing every anomaly, it separates symptoms (e.g. elevated error rates in an upstream API) from the source (e.g. connection pool exhaustion in a downstream database).
